International Disputes

International Disputes

We have experience arbitrating and advising clients in cross-border disputes involving construction, energy, and technology.

  • Outbound work.  We represent US companies doing work abroad in arbitrations administered by ICC, ICDR, SIAC, HKIA, and in ad hoc proceedings.  We also have experience enforcing foreign arbitral awards in the United States.
  • Inbound work.  We frequently advise and represent foreign companies developing projects in the United States, including several of the largest projects currently under development in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Silicon Valley.
  • Foreign litigation.  For US clients operating abroad, we help develop strategies for defending against litigation in foreign courts, and we work closely with local counsel in foreign jurisdictions to ensure that the client’s interests are protected.  We have worked for major US oil companies and technology companies in Hong Kong, China, Dubai, Spain, Chile, and India.

Recent Experience

We represent a major Chinese real estate developer with more than $3 billion currently under development in California.
